The applicant named Arun a resident of Baherrekuiyan Village, Balrampur district of Uttar Pradesh owns a part of land in his name.

The Pradhan of his village has encroached his land and has started construction. He approached many times to Pradhan and requested him to leave his land .But the latter used abusive language and threat him. He was very helpless as he could not get his land back as Pradhan threatened him of his powers. He tried complaining in the nearest Police Station many times. But no action was taken by them due to the influence of Pradhan in the locality.

Knowing, the problem of Arun his neighbor Suraj Bhan asked him to seek help from the CSC through the Tele-Law scheme.

Looking forward for some help he asked Suraj Bhan to register the case on his behalf. Later on the day of appointment he was connected to the Panel Lawyer. Listening to the problem Panel lawyer Mr. Narayan Mukherjee, advised him to complain in the office of District Magistrate. Further, he also informed him to file for injunction suit.

After seeking advice applicant, complained in the District Magistrate Office. DM further, marked the letter to the Tehsildar for further action. The next day, Tehsildar along with Lekhpal (accountant) along with the Police Officials visited on the spot. The land was measured and applicant got his part.

A notice was given to the Pradhan for vacating the land. As a result, the latter had to leave the land. And thus, applicant got back his land and was very happy and thanked Tele-Law for guidance.

Presently a total of 233712 cases are registered under Tele-Law project, out of which 218032 cases have received advice from the Panel Lawyers.
