Ek. Lalit Kala Academy National Academy of Fine Arts:-
It was established in 1954 at New Delhi to promote and propagate understanding of Indian art

2. Sangeet Natak Academy (National Academy of music , dance and drama)
it was established in 1953 at New Delhi to promote farming Indian arts example Dance, drama and music)
In collaboration with state and voluntary organisation.
3. National School of drama:-
It was established in 1959 at New Delhi by the Sangeet Natak Academy as a premier theatre institution. In 1975 , it was registered as an autonomous institution , fully financed by the union government.
4. Sahitya Academy:-
It was established in 1954 at New Delhi with the following objectives:-
1. To develop Indian literature.
2. To set high literacy standards.
3. To poster and co-ordinate literary activities in all the Indian languages.
4. To promote through them the cultural unity of the country.
5. Archaeological Survey of India:-
It was established in 1861 at New Delhi with the following objectives:-
1. To conserve and preserve Archaeological monuments and sites located in different parts of the country and maintain site museums.
2. To undertake exploitations and excavations, epigraphic research, study of architecture and scientific studies and investigations.
6.. National Archives of India
It was established in 1981 at New Delhi and known as Imperial record department till independence.
It is the official custodian of all non current records of permanent value of the Government of India and it predecessor bodies.
7. Asiatic Society:-
It was established in 1784 at Kolkata Bai Sir William Jones, an eminent indologist, with the objective of inquiring into history, antiquities , Arts, Science and literature of Asia.
8. anthropological Survey of India:-
It was established in 1945 at Kolkata for the advancement of scientific research in Anthropology and wild disciplines.
It collects authentic empirical data covering the entire range of human variation and culture.
9. Zonal cultural centres:-
They have been setup for projecting preserving and sustaining cultural kinship that transcends territorial limit.
There are 7 such centres in the country.
1.North Zone Cultural centre Patiala
2. East Zone Cultural Centre Kolkata
3. South Zone Cultural Centre Thanjavur
4. West Zone Cultural Centre Udaipur
5. North Central Zone Cultural Centre Allahabad
6. North East Zone Cultural Centre Dimapur
7. South Central Zone Cultural centre Nagpur
10. Indira Gandhi National Centre for Arts:-
It was established in 1985 at New Delhi as a resource centre and database. It is visualised as a centre and encompassing the study and experience of all the arts. It is the biggest and the largest cultural Complex in the world.
