About the Program
The Science Olympiad Foundation invites applications for SOF National Science Olympiad (NSO) 2020-21 from students of Class 1 to 12. The Olympiad is being organised to give students a platform to showcase their talent & knowledge of Science at the national level. The selected students stand a chance to get up to INR 50,000 and other benefits.
Eligibility
Students of class 1 to 12 are eligible to apply for this Olympiad.
Benefits
International level awards
A total of 12 first rank holders will receive INR 50,000 each, gold medal and certificate of outstanding performance.
A total of 12 second rank holders will receive INR 25,000 each, silver medal and certificate of outstanding performance.
A total of 12 third rank holders will receive INR 10,000 each, bronze medal and certificate of outstanding performance.
Zonal level awards
A total of 312 first rank holders will receive INR 5,000 each, gold medal and certificate of zonal excellence.
A total of 312 second rank holders will receive INR 2,500 each, silver medal and certificate of zonal excellence.
A total of 312 third rank holders win get INR 1,000 each, bronze medal and certificate of zonal excellence.
Total of 2184 awards comprising gifts worth INR 1,000 each, a medal of distinction, certificate of distinction and certificate of zonal excellence will be given to students who will rank from 4th to 10th.
A total of 4680 awards comprising a certificate of distinction, a medal of distinction and certificate of zonal excellence will be given to students who will rank from 11th to 25th.
All the participants ranking above 25 will receive merit certificates.

How can you apply?
Follow the steps below to apply for the fellowship:
Step 1: Visit the Website and read the instructions before applying.
Step 2: All eligible students can apply for the Olympiad through their respective schools only.
Step 3: SOF will send the prospectus along with the registration forms to all the registered schools.
Note: In case the school is not registered, it may send a request for prospectus by sending an email at info@sofworld.org.
